50mm mirror drive type gauges?

hi.

I was wanting to install a 50mm gauge to match my 60mm Blitz Mirror Drive gauge. It has a black backlit face (which goes black when power is off) and a silver bezel.

I have seen Defi gauges which look very similar but which need the control unit to work. I have also seen one called STRI DSD but have no idea what the build quality and accuracy is like.

Does anyone know any alternatives or has used the STRI?

The new 52mm Defi Racer Gauges are standalone and do not require a control unit.

See here for prices: http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=140560

I was after a gauge with a silver bezel and this one seems to have a black one. I know that sounds a bit picky but every new part in the whole project has been chosen to compliment eachother.

I was looking for one similar to the Defi BF but stand alone.

The bezels shown are plastic and just clip on and off, they are the standard Defi aluminium silver underneath

Is the needle in front of the glass? It dosnt disappear when the power is off. On the Blitz MD all you can see is the black glass.

I don't know, they are a brand new model that has only just been launched, so not supplied any yet.
