what just as a precourtion?

Mine is going into fuel cut now, which is winding me up.

I need to sort it out fast

If you are hitting fuel cut buy a FCD, do not do that mod in that link.

Thor is the best one, then Greddy. Try and avoid HKS FCD's iirc they remove fuel cut totally which is not a good thing to do.

Does the thor fcd have a setting on it so you can set it to lets say 1.2? or do you have to drive the car and change the settings every time you reach fuel cut?

The Thor unit is always pre set to 1.25bar (unless owner has altered settings)

The Greddy unit requires to be set but it is easy to do, just get the recommended settings of mkiv.com and you a volt meter, then try and hit fuel cut and if you do tweek it till fuel cut is gone.

Again avoid the HKS one.

So in your opinion would you say that the thor one is better? and do they still do them because i thought i read that they stopped?

But if the thor fcd are pre set to 1.25 bar couldnt this damage my turbo's if they can only take 1.2 bar of boost?

Mine isnt running that high but just incase it peaks boost in cold weather?

cheers chris

Good question even for such a small amount, better to be safe than sorry.
