GoliathJay
So.. I posted that I have 18/265/35's rear on an 8" rim, this is obviously small, however they are balanced up. Is there a major danger here?
jamesmark
Ideally a 265 tyre should not go on a rim less than 9" for everyday/social driving. 8" rim on the front and 9.5" on the rears is the common sizes for the supra on aftermarket wheels. Have a look here, there is a calculator on page 2. http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible.html
GoliathJay
Hopefully I'll be getting some CCW classics next year, think they'll hold up till then?
Chris Wilson
So long as you don't stack it first, it'll handle like a total dog.

ADL Mark
Really not a good idea, those tyres are far too wide for your rims. You're compromising the only thing that keeps you in contact with the road. Rather you than me...
