I was trying to hook my PC up to my telly (not HD :() to see what the picture quality would be like. My graphics card only has DVI and S-Vid outputs and the TV only has S-Vid, RCA and Scart inputs.
I hooked them together with an S-Vid cable and the picture was rubbish which was pretty much what I expected. I then discovered you get SVGA to Scart cables. I already had DVI-SVGA adapters so I tried this but the TV didn't receive a signal at all. Should this work or is there a technical reason that it won't?
