Hi chaps,
I bought a pc a few months ago and its got Norton inbedded into it! I want to remove it but cant find it anywhere? Its not under remove programs. Any ideas?
theres a tool on symantecs website that does a complete file removal. try that, worked for me. im at work so i cant find the link at the mo. if you cant find it drop me a pm and i'll check tonight for ya...
oh and what make is the pc? packard bell ones are a pain to clean up....

Does it make a big difference? Somethign is killing off my machine and its not really doing much.
I used to have Norton but wasn't convinced I had removed it all. I have just tried this tool and as I wasn't sure what version I had, I ticked the ISP supplied box.
I have run it but for the past hour it has been stuck at "Processing MSI's by product code". The spyglass is still turning so it isn't frozen up but surely it shouldn't have taken this long? :blink:
