That is strange it is very easy to record vinyl to PC without having to buy a whole new turntable with a USB on it. All you need is a simple phono lead from the amp to the PC. There is tons of free software out there to edit and convert the wav to an mp3 or whatever. I do it all the time and I am a total spaz at computers

Sony will get away with charging twice the price though.



I've just finished transfering our complete collection to mp3.
Did it manually with a record deck, phono cable and Creative software.

I set one of these up for a client that went out and bought one. I must say, I was rather impressed with it :)
