Guest ISOBLAZED Posted March 12, 2008 Share Posted March 12, 2008 whats'up peoples... new to this board... wondered if yall can help me out... i had an in dash in my 95 supra limited edition and some one jacked it... They also jacked my ac/heater controls ..i mean the knobs are still on the outside maybe on he inside something is missing. not really sure what it is but now my ac/heater doesnt work and hot air is always blowing straight in.... i havent taken apart the dash yet but does this sound familar to anyone? can anyone help me out before i start taking the dash apart??? thanks in advance... dini_the_owl Posted March 12, 2008 Share Posted March 12, 2008 the ecu for this is behind the dash,cream looking with orange connectors, there is also the electric antenna relay on there too, should be on the metal cage that the sterio fits into. maybe they are missing too or disconected? Guest ISOBLAZED Posted March 12, 2008 Share Posted March 12, 2008 well i had a regular stereo jsut installed and the installer said it prob is the ecu...or lieka heater control... it prob got pulled out along with the indash that was stolen..... is that part easy to get? Homer Posted March 12, 2008 Share Posted March 12, 2008 It's a bit difficult to underdstand which parts you're referring to. Presumably you've sourced a replacement dash panel and the heater control unit itself (the bit with the buttons on it)? The wires that connect to the heater controls link to the heater control ECU which sits on top of the stereo cage. Make sure that heater control unit it still there and the plugs are secure. I can post some pics of the units that should be behind the dash it it helps? Obviously it'll be from RHD, not sure if the units are different for LHD cars...
