GoliathJay
Where do you guy get your power souce for subs from? I've taken it from the live on the fuse box next to the battery, but according to the multimeter there is still charge getting to the amp when they keys are out. Will this kill my bat? Wez
Normally run a constant live from batt to amp and then earth local to amp, then there is the remote switch which normally comes from the headunit which switches the amp on.
molak
yea thats right mate, your remote is just to turn the amp on when the radio is on and the power it needs is taken from the big cable you've got goin to the fuse box live/battery. Wez
You should also have a fuse in the main power line a couple of inches from the batt
