Was reversing into a space at work this morning & suddenly saw an avensis estate reversing at me, i stopped & he kept going & scraped down my rear bumper, he reconed it was 50/50 blame & i figured i couldnt prove id stopped & he didnt, i know him, he works in paint repair & said it would polish out, ive not lost any paint. His is worse than mine.

1st collision in 7 years, these cars ARE CURSED.

EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME - WITHIN 1 WEEK OF BUYING IT.

Luckily, me having a black car it simply scruffed and polished out. Only afterwards I realised I should've gone forward back into the space to avoid it. Happens so fast you don't have time to think (especially when you saw him and was already stopped/stationary).

Sorry to hear that. Very annoying. I feel your pain

I reversed into a trolley in asda yesterday due to someone just leaving it in the middle of the road plus the fact that you cant see them with the veilside spoiler. But it did worry me alot, wasn't to bothered about the fact that I hit the trolley as it didn't even scratch the paint but what worried me was the fact that it could of been a little kid really goes to show we do need wake up calls.

anyway... whats best to get those marks off my car?

I used meguiars 3 stage deep paint cleaner. Can get that in halfords. I am sure t-cut would do the same job though. I did use the halfords 12v polisher too which may have helped a bit. Its worth having all that stuff I reckon anyway to look after your cars paint. T cut works well buffing up those headlights and getting rid of yellow marks.
