Guest 'roberto'
Hi, Sorry for covering old ground, but i've searched a fair bit and cant find anything clear (and the search button wont let me type in '17') so i've read a serious amount of posts! I think i've finally decided on these wheels.... http://www.potn.co.uk/p1040537.htm (White black or black with red lip still to be decided! car is toyota rouge) I just want to know if i go for the 17x9 (or 9.5) what tyre size would be best suited? 205/40/17 isn't right, so would it be some thing like 235/40/17? Wider the better i understand, but cant get my head round it! Thanks in advance!
Scooter
Firstly et 30 and a 9" rim on the front probably won't fit......... Tyre wise stock sizes are 235/45/17 and 255/40/17 for 18's just reduce the profile (45 and 40 bits) by 5 - so 235/40/18 and 255/35/18 and for 19's a further 5 - 235/35/19 and 255/30/19 as well as 235 and 255 combo's, 235 & 265, 245 & 275 are popupar also....... Guest 'roberto'
Bugger hadn't even checked the offset cos the 18's are popular. (they have a bigger offset available) I've sent an email to check but by the reads of it you probably right. Back to the drawing board then, or go for 18's
