Recently my rear rake pad developed the classic scraping / squeal of the brake pads. Indicating they needed replacing.

The front hadn't started this so I just replaced the rears, must be about a month ago now.

Anyway I dont drive with the music loud so I can generally hear things, I had to take the car out tuesday night luckerly only 2 or 3 miles away as I started breaking on the way back I could hear a little bit of metal on metal. I felt no judder and the pedal felt normal.

Now if i hadnt noticed this i wouldnt of liked to stop from 70 ;-) the next time. Just remember not all pads have wear indicators!!

You wuss, there's loads of meat left on them, and *all* pads do include a wear indicator, it's called the backing plate. :D

My pads gave up on me at Supra Pod and I found this after I got home.
