Howdy all. Thought i'd best register over here as we seem to be having joint meets now :)
I am the local area rep for Skylineowners.com, was at the meet the other week - was driving the black 32 with the nasty paint runs :(
Was cool to meet some of you and nod to others - hopefully weather will be a bit warmer for this one and I'll be able to put more names to faces.

Cheers Marc. So which car was yours? I might be able to figure out your face from that! I remember a black turbo which was worth more than my house, a sweet looking black n/a and an equally cool white one which left before drinks at the Potarcharachjach or whatever that pub was called! :D

I didn't manage along to the meet with you guys but should be along at the next one. Like you say hopefully it'll be a bit warmer by then.
The joint meets have got to be a good idea in my opinion. Two iconic japanese cars, a bunch of enthusiastic owners and plenty knowledge/stories to share.

Was good to meet you all and there were some nice skylines, sorry I couldn't make the whole drive I had to shoot off but will be around longer at this one. If we get a similar supra turnout to last time there will be some really nice supes for you to have a look at and hopefully a few more skylines as well.

cool, it'll be good to meet after our brief encounter when i spoke to you when you were on your bike late last year. and get to see what you actually look like (as you had your helmet on) lol :d
This is going to be a good one and we need to get as many names as possible as someone from the scooby owners club has got in touch as they heard from the Newmachar Hotel that we were having a meet and phoned me and asked if they could tag along so of course I said yes, so it looks like this is going to be a bit of a Jap meet now.
The Back car park will be shut off again and the carvery is £9.25 for two courses. Am really looking forward to this one now should be great. Lets get those names down.

Track I would say is not worth it so I havn't sorted it. Would be better having a bit of a drive out I think. I don't know what forum it is with the Scooby's just spoke to a guy tonight I will try and find out.

The more the merrier, It will be a great day if we get a good turnout. I think most will agree that whilst we all favour our own cars for many reasons it is always good to see what others have done to make their Jap preference their own!
This is sounding better and better, I just hope my bloody lights are back from Jon in time.

I am really looking forward to this meet and my single will be remapped next weekend by Ryan G so should be running sweet for the meet. Am looking forward to letting her stretch her legs a bit on a drive out.

Who did the retrim in the end?
well I phoned Gordon maitland but he couldn't do it for 3-4 months!
There was another guy pete from Nipponauto but he said earliest was july..
Finnaly found out about Transcal near Edinburgh. If they have trimmed the same model of car before (and have all the patterns) they can do your retrim in a day or two.. But as they have only done supra front seats, mine has to go down for 2 weeks.
Dropped it off on Monday and will be picking it up on the 11th :d
Hey, thats no tighter than me getting back my bloody lights. Still not heard anything more from Jon. He's a good bloke but I would have liked to know if I'd get them back. Bloody MOT to get done before the meet too.

Finally had a reply from Jon so it looks like its back on for me too. I'm hoping Friday and all the way through is nice. I took the day of to refit my lights, fit the HIDs and give her a damn good clean.
Just hope the battery isn't completely flat!

No worries we can see what the weather does and all meet up in the supes. Eves' supe won't be out of the body shop for the meet so she will be in with me and would probably like a run out when she gets it back.

Yes it was a good meet. I think it was 7 supes 2 skylines a civic Type R and a Scooby. Was a great bunch of people and good to meet everyone.
We had Lunch at the hotel then a drive to Castle Fraser and a coffe there before we left.
Me and Eve then drove to 'Shakin Brigge' for a walk along the river then back to the Hotel for a drink before I came back to work. All in all a great day.
I hope a few of you at least put your names down for the 18th May at knockhill. That will be a good weekend.
Forgot my camera but plenty of others didn't so the pics should follow.
yeah it was a great day. weather stayed pretty dry as well.
just uploading some pics now in the multimedia section, not the best photographer but they will do. i do have some short videos but they kind of make me seasick when i watch them lol :D

I'll be along for the Knockhill event. Depending on whether folks want to do a convoy or not I'll either drive down on the day or stay over at my grans the night before, could convoy either day I suppose.
I'll have finished my exams by then so it'll be a massive relief to get shot of them.

Ohh god don't even joke about that mate. If I've not got them back by then I'll have sold the Supra lights or no lights.
Its been infuriating me so much that on friday(day I took off to fit them as I was assured they'd be delivered) I was actually thinking to myself how much cheaper and easier it would be to buy a wee ford Ka and a brand new 600cc motorbike.
In all fairness I came to my senses and as soon as I started washing the car my love for it came back, but have to admit to thinkin those thoughts.
So lookin forward to drivin her again :(
