TrackScotland Trackday @ Knockhill - 17th April

We are running a trackday on the 17th of April 2008. http://www.trackscotland.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=378

It will be run from 6pm to 8pm.

* Open Pit lane with passing on the left (on straights) only.
* £62 per CAR, extra drivers are Free.
* The sessions will be fully marshaled by Knockhill staff, with any dangerous driving black flagged.
* Helmets are compulsory, but can be hired on site

The Online Booking uses PayPal, so you can use Credit/Debit Cards or Bank Transfers.. Whichever you setup in your PayPal. If you would prefer not to use PayPal, cheques will be fine. Email for details. ak@trackscotland.co.uk

The price is slightly high compared to the 4hr session we held in Feb due to Knockhill's 'summer' pricing. Hopefully this will mean better weather!

What do you get for £62 that you don't get by booking on the knockhill website where it is £40 or £55 for the Hot Marques track days? I am interested but would like to know the pros and cons of booking with you.

I have had a look at the track scotland website and I cannot find any additional info about this event I really need to know more before I book.

Lots of info on here about track days at knockhill and it seems cheaper. Would we not be better all agreeing a day and going on a hot marques evening for £55?

Pricing: No idea what KH are playing at... they used to charge around £70 for the 2hr Hot Marques session. They have increased their hire prices this year, and we simply cannot match the £55 with our self imposed limit of 30 cars. We dont make any profit and are very open to getting 'humped' if the no's arent made by the event date. Thats one bonus I suppose... with us there will be less cars.

KH seem to be making it quite tough for outsider organised events.

The £40 event you are reffering to is prob the Hot Hatch/Speed Sunday.... you pay your money you take your chances :P I wouldnt take a car worth more than 1k on those.
