That's how I'm describing myself tonight. Wasn't paying attention properly and scraped the Supra when reversing out the garage

Still can't believe I did it, so fecking annoyed at myself.

Made a nice mess of the passenger side of the bumper/wing.

Whats annoyed me more is that

1.It just had a full respray in October and

2. I bought it accident damaged just over a year ago and have been working hard on it and spending a bit on it to get it the way I want. In the last month I've put in a lot of time grafting to get the final things done including SuperStreets, BPU, New radiator, cambellt service, fan belt, oil filter, fuel filter, active spoiler and new stereo. And I was totally delighted with the results, it's like a new car.

Now for the ironic bit, I had just finished the final job which was changing the boot rubbers to get rid of the annoying rattle. This was the cause of my "accident" as the car always creaked when reversing out the garage so I was listening out for it and scraped the side whilst not paying attention to the angle of the car

Anyways I've uploaded a couple of pics of the damage sorry for the quality but nighttime + camera phone + black car = mince pics.

Anyone got any tips for trying repair the scratches as much as possible?

I'm away to smack my head against a brick wall :(

Thanks mate, panel looks ok didn't scrape it too hard. The white in the pics is the paint from the garage. Had a good shufty at it, it got some decent scratches on it and as you can see from the pics some paint and grit from the wall but panel looks fine.

best you can do really is polish it back as much as possible and if its still noticeable, try wet sanding, but i would imagine it needs looking to by a body shop
