Wow that is gorgeous. If only the steering wheel was on the right side.:d
Not bad that.
Where've you been Sabrina?? Not noticed you post for a while :search:
Wow - lovely car.
What sort of costs are involved to get one of these, and then get it to the UK?
There is a couple in Leeds and they sound gorgeous, I could not care how they handle etc etc I would have one in a heartbeat.
I got a regular mustang in florida. Stunning looking car. Meant to have over 200bhp, felt like 20bhp and also the inside was very cheap and plastic.
Damn good value for money though, the sound off it was superb.
Whats the spec on the shelby?

It's a Premium GT 4.4lt v8. It's about 320 bhp. It's not supercharged .... yet ....... it's got lower and stiffer suspension than the standard Premium!
But none of that is important when it's so pretty!

If you want me to find out - I'll ask - let me know!
Think he paid about £23-25k all in all! Great price for a genuine shelby!
S197 v6's are half that though - tempted myself

it's the new knight rider ..
They're good VFM. Just ugly as hell.
I really don't like that bonnet catch/cables affair.
Apart from that there's one of the that goes past my work every day. Love it.

Has it got a rear live axle?
Lovely bit of kit, the Rouse one is up another level as i think thats the one that actually handles, with a totally revamped suspension.

Yup, keeps costs down :) as its prehistoric, i would still love one though.

Roush do 6 models, which one were you referring to?
The "Roush suspension system" consists of an anti roll bar, shocks and springs.
At the end of the day it's not using IRS in favour of the way old fashioned Live Axel so it's really not going to handle well as a modern day sports cars.

It was never going to be a great handling car, that was'nt in its original design brief, but it can be made to behave reasonably well for a fairly hefty chunk of metal.
I went through this same dilema last year but I am sticking with the Supra for now;)

Wow, that seems an awesome price. I'd have one if they did RHD, the basic 06 models can be bought in this country for under 13k. The Shelbys I looked at all seemed to be 40k+ so thats an awesome deal.
Sold my Shelby gt500 back in november they are a lovely motor.
Knight Rider,
Altough those stupid bonnet catchs have to go, cant have that amount of wire hanging out
