Tenancy agreement

Anyone know anything about Tenancy Agreements?

My tenancy is due to be renewed, and my Landlord is now doing it himself rather than using the Letting Agent he did before.

He has sent me the attached agreement today (it should be renewed tomorrow!). Is it OK?

When I signed the contract with the Letting Agent it went into some 'secure deposit' scheme. Can they transfer it to him? Is it still secure?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

I would want the clause amending about the landlord's responsibility to repair and maintain.

It says he will give you 24hrs notice but there isn't much specific about after you report a fault to him, ie how much time he has to repair stuff.
