Hey all,

Just got a supra Mk4 N/A today (Silver). Pics to follow.

I decided to sell my troublesome Mitsi MK1 GTO TT and get the Supra instead. What a lovely car! Not quite the power of the GTO (it was TT), but still loving it.

I may mod it one day, but for now I'll enjoy as it is :)

G'day mate, Welcome to da forums!

I speak for all when i say, get those pics up :)

A while ago I was going to get a GTO TT, before I decided to start saving for a Supra as I heard GTO's do gearboxes easily is that true?

Thanks Guys!

Fudgesical, I did have problems with the transmission rod coming apart (under the leather surround), but that was just a worn thread that could be re-attached.

Basically the engine on the GTO went, all the valves were bent and burnt, I ended up dropping a new lump in it, as well as a new clutch (clutch was less than a year old!), new shocks too.. felt like I had my wallet raped, not good.

The air flow controller just went on it too, that was the final straw, getting that fixed, and selling the beast. Its fun, but just so expensive! If it was more reliable I would have kept it.

The supra on the other hand, although non turbo, is still pretty quick (I hear 300kg lighter than the GTO), and is in amazing condition for a '94 car :)

Pics soon, sorry guys, not had time today, had to take the GTO in for its repairs, get the train back home, buzz around here and there in the Supra and now its dark. Excuses excuses I know... :)
