I've just spent this afternoon (with Rob Wild's able assistance) fitting RLTC, and have a couple of questions:
When we connected the field harness to the ECU we noticed that it is labelled as 2JZ-GT. As mine is a TT this is obviously a little confusing, as it seems to control the Turbos fine. Can anyone shed any light on whether it should say 2JZ-GTE and if it should why does mine seem to work.
when connecting the wheel speed sensors to the TRAC/ABS ECU I noticed that I don't have TRAC, (just two connectors on the ABS ECU rather than three) and my T/C button is marked up as "Slip Cont". I know that on the auto the autobox uses the stock T/C during gearchanges, so I can't just pull the fuse. So the general consensus is to turn off the stock T/C whenever the car is driven.
My question is, what is the difference between "TRAC" and "Slip Cont", and does the same principal apply?
TIA
Mike
