looks good mate, i would lose the vac hose clips though and fit some small red cable ties, really looks the part, i did this on mine and it looked good.

 

i'll see if i got a pic

did have a go at polishing the clips, but very fiddly, very hot, very tough to shine.. got some red cable ties somewhere though..

 

Michael, im sure we can sort somehting out with yours..

Anywhere i can find out more on products/equip used?

 

the bench grinder is some old one that i havent been able to find a spec on, its a Wolf, 3000 rpm.

 

the mops and compounds were from Colsoop.

 

 

looks good :cool: mmmmmmmm competiton :sly: :D

basically colsoop advised me on a 3 stage mehtod, using a grey, green and blue compound, first mop is a hard sisal mop, second is a softer stictched jobbie and the final is a loose mop thing. something like these http://www.merlinabrasives.com/polishingkits.html

 

give colsoop a PM, he can advise and sell you the same kit i got from him..

 

cool may verywell give that a go on some fmic pipes
