how do you check if wheels clear uk brakes?

Very difficult to tell mate.

 

If you have the exact measurements of the wheel (or if someone else happens to have them already) we may be able to make an educated guess but the proof as they say...is in the pudding.

 

Oh, and if all four wheels are 7.5j width I'd be steering well clear anyway as these are too thin for the fronts, nevermind the rears which should be larger. (another reason hinting that they probably won't fit over UK calipers)

it says 7.5 j but the outside measurement is 8.5 also et is 135 Its my wheels that are up for sale and i never had any issues at all with them i just put the widest tyre i could get on them .also a pic of the curbed one all the others are unmarked

That's not the correct way of measuring the width of the rim, you need to measure between the inner flanges.
