Not changing it again!!
The Grasshopper in Westerham, loads of space and easy to get to from the M25. It's just outside the town (west) on the A25, can't miss it. (Thanks Nick)

The Grasshopper is on the A25 about a mile west of Westerham.

Directions :
M25 JCT6 : Head south on the A22 (turn right under the M25) up the dual carriage way until you reach the roundabout. Turn left here onto the A25 and follow it through Oxted and Limpsfield until about a mile outside of Westerham. The Grasshopper is on the left hand side, can't miss it as it has a large carpark and is the only building.
M25 JCT5 : Just past where the M25 splits into the M25/A21 stay in either of the two right hand lanes (A21). The first exit will be A25 Sevenoaks, you want to take the second one which is A25 West. It's a VERY sharp exit and tightens leading you straight onto the A25. Follow the road through Sundridge, then through Brasted (lots of traffic "calming" chicanes) and finally through Westerham. About a mile outside on the right hand side is the Grasshopper.

Millhouse- in that case if you wanna gimme a lift thats great :thumbs: easier (and quicker) to mine from jct 11 M25 though...so if you're going that way superb :thumbs: Plus then you get to stop for a cup of tea en route lol Offer extends to Millhouses convoy obviously!

The Grasshopper is pretty popular place for car meets, the owners are usually appreciative if you ask to hold meet there first as they get very busy at weekends. Its not usually a problem but common courtesy and all that....

Right all sorted.
I've checked with the owners and they are happy for us to use the Grasshopper.
They are expecting between 20-30 people for eating from 1-3.30 ish.
They have two conditions though
1. We park at the end of the car park away from the pub
2. No racing - they've had problems with car clubs in the past and are currently repairing a wall that one car club demolished.
I know none of you are likely to go smashing up your Supe, but as they want something from me in writing to confirm we will be coming I'd rather not be the one they send any repair bills to!

I don't think there will be a problem with people ragging it about in the car park.
Parking at the end of the car park is good coz it means theres more chance of getting ajoining spaces :)
BigRoy- do you get up during the night to eat then? Or do you have a fridge by your bed...or perhaps some kind of IV drip to get you through the night :p

Nah na na, they've always been there, my Supras been around Dartford for three years now, there's Keith with a Red UK, there's Christian near Gravesend, there was a MSB one (Mark Brown I think), a red one with L IAN L number plate. Rob B in Bexleyheath, plus all the others here.
You never see them cos we're all too scared of mixing it up with the big boys round the one-way.

Matt, there is a 400BHP twin engined Nova that has been attending a few of these events and was at the Jap Performance show at Pod a few weeks ago as well.
I think it used to be pretty shitty looking but it has been sprayed a crappy matt black now.

Right, I've changed myself from a maybe to a definite. Also, us lot are meeting in the Tesco's car park oppersite the Shell Winnal service station in Winchester @ 11:30 (Where the M3 meets the A34).

LOL! Do you know the Shell garage at Godstone? Thats were we tend meet up , If you come up the A22 its the first exit at the J6 roundabout. If you're coming up the A23 then you should join up with the A25 at Redhill and then just follow the signs to the M25.

Nah, you can't miss it, come off at Winnal, signposted Winnal Industrial Estate, Junction 9, come upto a roundabout and stay in the left hand lane.
Take the first exit and you then come to another small roundabout, in front of you to the right is a Shell garage [very handy :) ] and to the left is Tescos, we're meeting in the Tesco car park as I think there'll be about 8 of us meeting up.
Don't worry about getting lost, if I can find it then I'm sure you can :D

Im Definate at moment as long as car is ok. Steve w2 and timwildman Do you want to meet at Angel first again so can leave together. I checked out where winnal Tescos is and Jive is right you cant miss it! So we can meet southampton boys bout 11:30am what time,do u suspect we will have to meet to get there in time?

I reckopn we need to leave the Angel at 11:00am mate. Don't worry I know where they mean as well, just of the roundabout by the A34 junction.;)

okay 10:45 if it makes you feel any better, its not that far though especially if the traffic is good.
From the Angel its almost all dual carriageway/motorway as well remember:)
Jesus, I was gonna leave at 11 to get there for 11.30, even in a TT there's no way your gonna do the Angel to Winnal in 45 mins :eek:

I mean if we leave at 10:30 (which is fine) the chances of getting to southampton in half an hour are good and about right and then bout 30mins there, we will be there on time or bit late so dont dissapear im coming!

im back to a maybe again!! life aint fair! car didnt start again. I think it somethign to do with the battery still. If my car starts im coming, just i may need jump starting when to come back :innocent:
Steve w2 and timwildman - ill keep this thread updated if im coming i still hope too.
i took battery out of car today so its charging all day today and may leave to charge over tonight as well. the battery indicator is saying it needs a charge so im giving it what it wants! i hope it returns the favour!

cheers steve, yea i still live in same place. I am really hopefull to make it too this,as i will be up early to wash the beast and dry it, as being white im gonna get there and be black anyway.
jump leads be great mate, but what is weird is it dont seem to match the weather, it was mild this morning and didnt start, while other morning we had that hard frost and ice on windscreen and started fine!! Ill put battery back on 2moz morning and then ill know. ill check indicator to make sure if its charged if it hasnt even charged then then the battery is totally shagged! but i had battery test and they said it was fine! :mad:

My car is STILL in the bleedin' garage (been there three weeks now) having the turbos sorted. Apparently there are 11 gaskets in the turbo assembly and guess how many they have for mine !!!! Yup, you guessed it.. They only have 10 :(
They are calling round trying to get hold of one so all hope is not lost yet. Just nearly all hope :)

PS.. If anyone has a 'front turbo exhaust side to downpipe' gasket in their pocket and they are near Bexleyheath, please come drop it in at my works :D :D Ta :cool:

Basically Everything, i am really gutted! I had to get the fuse from toyota and they cant get till sat/mon. i really wanted to go. i could come in my van but thats got no brakes! :( :(
i spose i could try halfrauds but i doubt theyll have it somehow. maybe i could ring some toyota dealers and see if they have one tom. Need to try everything in my power to get one.
Is it a 'blade' fuse or one of them biggish ones under the bonnet
(sort of look like little 'relays' with clear tops ??)

Tim thanx for battery mate got it on charge but the terminal size on top is different, mine are much bigger then urs!! does this mean it converted to UK i mean it still the poke up sticks its just there much bigger (fatter) while urs skinner. Should i still be able to fix them to it?!?!

errrr yeah it's prob a uk fitment you have . So the battery isn't much use to you, oh well worth a try. I supose you could make if fit if you pad out the terminals with something metalic but needs to have good contact, outwise it might get very hot! best just see about a new battery.

Trig - Nit of a long shot but I have an 94 SZ Manual sitting here doing nothing (no you can't borrow it:D ) which you can take the fuse out of its compatable/helps and you can get down here!?
Failing that you could just short the fuse out:eek: Wouldn't recommend it though:(
WSB2 - Tin foil or solder should be okay to fill the gap if you can't sort the battery clamps out. Failing that I would go to Prtyre opposite makro and get a battery there.

Battery is totally stuffed took it out todaty so hope to go during lunch and get a new one! i found the problem its a halfords battery! lol ...... Good news it is it has 3 yr warranty stuck all over it so ill be taking back there at lunch and having a battery test and trying to get my free replacement. If not down to pro tyre
