Maybe im being stupid but i dont think i could go to a supra meet without my supra. To me it would be like playing football - but with no ball, or playing snooker - with no cues, it just wouldnt seem right. :( :( Or maybe im going mad! :looney: :twak:

It's about sharing an interest in your car, learning from other members, having a laugh with some cool people and generally messing about.
Yes, I'd feel naked without my Supra at a meet.. but I'd still go to it :)

7 months eh.. My longest without mine was 9 months !! That was when the police took it to investigate cars stolen from Japan and sold in the UK.
Anyway, 9 months later and a few emails to the Met Commisioner of police and I get a phone call saying their investigations were in conclusive and I can come get it back (I was not impressed). Grr..
The garage have had mine for coming upto 4 weeks now (refurbing the turbs) and already I can feel that same anger brewing inside me :D :D

If it was 7 months I think i could handle it, but it's not gonna be done by xmas, it's just not. Which mean January but after new year etc it's gonna drag so we're into 9 months before it even really gets picked up again. It's gonna be more than a year before it's over and done with for sure. I'm not competing, would happily lose this one!

where you get it from in end and how much?
Got it from the Supraman as pointed out by Chris a couple of pages back. It was £10 which is the same price as toyota but am happy to pay that as its short notice. Think ive had a result there!! Hopefully i can make tomorrow now! :D :D

Over the past 2 weeks since mine was washed, waxed and polished, it has accumulated quite a nice layer of protective filth, which is slowly becoming a sentient lifeform who I call my friend Bob.
I'm unsure if I'll have time (read: don't know if I can be bothered) washing it in the morning :D

I forgot to apologise to all those I was mean't to meet at Shell Junc 6. Caught up in all that traffic I figured I must have missed ya so went straight to the Grasshopper.
No probs mate, all of us got stuck at one point or another, its damn inconsiderate of people to crash when you have a meet!
Absolutely horrendous traffic on the M25, shame I missed the warning. Took me ~45 minutes to get to around Junction 8 from Aylesbury, then took an HOUR AND A HALF to get the 9 miles to the pub. M25 banked up because of an accident just past exit 6, then to make things worse the A25 was horrendous heading away from the M25 too.. Bah! All it seemed to be, with the 5+ miles of chaos on the A25 was a set of traffic lights on the top of a hill.

ANYWAY! Good meet, great turnout, usual bits nice to chat to a few people. I was one of the 6 who made it all the way to the end of the meet at about 7pm.. we sat down and had some roast for lunch then sat in the pub and had a few bevvies.
Nice chatting you you all and we'll have to do it again sometime :thumbs:

But I reversed out of the drive this morning to have no control over my drivers window at all, i.e. the cable broke!! :eek: :eek:
I was not a happy bunny!! (it was in the down position - as it fell down!
Anyways, anyone that has this happen to them, it is around 150 notes (or something) to replace the broken part, so I went to halfrauds and spent less than £5 to fix it!! :) :) It took me all day, but saved me a nice packet!!
Maybe next time I will make it eh!!

Finally got on here properly for first time since meet. Was good to meet some old faces from bournemouth meet and of course new and enjoyed convoy up with the southampton boys. Finally had to refill the tank today got 311 miles from 51 litres havent a clue what that is in miles per gallon, somone wana work it out ..lol
Tim and Steve, excellant drive back lads, hope to see ya round . Tim i did see u turn off for Bournemouth exit, gave a flash of the hazard lights dont know if u saw?!?!
Steve enjoyed the nice little Stretch of our legs down the last bit of dual carriageway,i had to go for the undertake and at speed, anything to give me small headstart.

Good meet, nice to see so many Supra's in one place at this time of year. Just a real shame it took nearly 45 minutes to drive not even 2 miles - you realise this now counts as the record for the slowest Supra convoy!
It's a shame I didn't have a chace to introduce myself to more people, but by the time we got got, had a drink, caught up with the latest from the Southern massive and then got some photos of the cars, it was getting a bit late (anticipating a 3 hour drive home too) and the girlfriend was getting cold so we left.
Anyway, hopefully the meets next year will attract just as big a crowd as this one. :)

Enjoyed the little convoy up the m3 on the way, thought I'd nearly lost it at one point when some bast**d pulled out infront of me and nearly forced me into the center reservation!
Didn't mind the heavy traffic at the end to much as this is my 1st week owning an auto so was enjoying the novalty of not having an aching left leg from the clutch :-).
First real blast ive had in my car on the way home, think it was the first drive on dry roads since i bought it last week, feels so much safer at speed than me old mk3 although I did have the warning light flash on an off a bit at high speeds along with the seatbelt warning light....weird ???
whitesupraboy2: that'll be 27mpg then !!! :-), nice mine looks more like about 18mpg this tank !?
I did well on consumption as well actually. Full tank of Optimax on a J-spec got me 313 miles cruising mainly on motorway between 80-100 leptons with the odd WOT moment to destroy WSB2 and keep up with Tim in his VVTi.
Quite pleased with that really.
PS. Supraguy - I'm not really keen on big bodykits but your car did look excellent on Saturday. Love those wheels!:)
Great meet considering the time of year, temperature and the traffic conditions. Got lost when our convoy split up on the way up there, thanks to WSB2 who decided that foot down and leave a massive gap and not allowing me to see which way he'd gone......doh!!!
Still we got there, some fantastic looking cars on display [as per usual] and I'll get my pics downloaded as soon as poss.
Good to meet the usual [you know who you are] and also a couple of new people......also big thanks to Scooter for texting me and warning of the accident on the M25, still didn't make much difference what with the hour or so queue up the A25.

motor which of course we know! but we are talking Blitz NUR SPEC R exhaust,and what a great sound track that pumps out!
It`s gone to No.1 on my christmas list for sure. Just a couple
of questions if you or anyone here can answer for me.
1.- Is there a T.T. version & an N/A version with the same name?
or only 1 type.
2.- Is there any performance advantage in fitting this to a N/A
supra (which i have),or are we just talking lovely noise?
3.- Does anyone know where i can get a good deal for buying
& fitting such a beast?

1. Same thing
2. NA is louder than a TT - dunno about performance on an NA, but definitely on a TT
3. Envy have them on special (www.envyperformance.com)

I gave Max a proper blast last night, first chance I've had and I would say that he feels a little livelier than before but not a great deal.
Its going to releive a litlle back presssure on the engine and will probably feel a bit more responsive. I think the same is true of a TT.
I won't give massive BHP increases by itself.:)

Impressive turn out and some nice Supe's. :) I was one of the few people that didn't get stuck in traffic as I only live up the road, just meant waiting an hour for everyone else to arrive...!;)

Faye - I think you are being very selfish! Its not just about you you know, you have to consider what Max wants too.
Its bad enough he has to do to meets without any turbos to rev at people, you could al least take his sore throat away so that he can growl back:p
Max is very happy, he's had plenty of presents over the last year and hiss growling is second to none at the moment. Personally I think he's turning into a bit of a tart, why can't he just be content with the way he is!!!!! :p

when we finally work out to do this (hopefully a simple wire them together!), both can do at sametime if u want mate. should make it nice and quick both of us doing it! i got fog light in reverse light already so dont know why im not twin light anyway :blink:

Have you checked to see if the lamps are out, or even fitted? They probably took them out to give a certain distance from the fog lights.
