Bass one minute, gone the next!

I have a Sub/Exhaust problem........ I think! :rolleyes:

I have just fitted a Sub to the boot of my Sup, it has Kenwood speakers all around and an Alpine V12 Amp and Alpine Sub, and the exhaust is XS power system (I think)

Now when I'm sat still the sub sounds like it's thumping the bottom out of hell (to thumpy for me need to turn it down)... Now when I start moving you just can't hear the bass at all, it's nuts, how can something sound so mental when sat still and almost non exsistent when moving :(

Any help is appreciated as I don't want to sound like a chav when driving but I would like a little bit of bass to my music

try i fit a cone to one side of yout box... it will help!!

the sound from the sub will flow easily!!
