flukey-lukey
For a trial rear. Is it a standard size square plate or will I have to order a 'special' size?
CarlT67
I think its a little bigger thabn standard as there is a gap at the top of mine where you can see into the bumper...
AndrewOW
Probably a 13" x 7" then, like my new one. Not that I have a Trial rear!
flukey-lukey
so is 13" by 7" standard?
AndrewOW
Well that fits my standard bumper perfectly, as the previous one I had was 13" x 6.75" and was slightly too shallow.
flukey-lukey
Just had a look at your garage... I think that 13" by 7" is a little too long...but I could be wrong
CarlT67
Yes the gap is over the top to bottom distance, Sorry for the slight hijack but where is a good place to get a custom plate, in a way that has a single black line around the edge and a footer with "www.mkivsupra.net" written on it as I want it to match the front which the previous owner got made. AndrewOW
Just had a look at your garage... I think that 13" by 7" is a little too long...but I could be wrong Well the 13" x 7" does completely cover the hole that's in the standard bumper, with only a small overlap all round. Yes the gap is over the top to bottom distance, Sorry for the slight hijack but where is a good place to get a custom plate, in a way that has a single black line around the edge and a footer with "www.mkivsupra.net" written on it as I want it to match the front which the previous owner got made. I have got all my plates from this place over the years, and have found they're really good, and not too expensive: http://www.aplates.com/aplatesshop/platebuilder.asp I've got my new registration with a thin black border, and AndrewOW - http://www.mkivsupra.net underneath as a tag line. Both plates are 13" wide but differing depths. I could take a photo tomorrow if you like
