Harllequin
Would this tyre setup be ok for my 93TT please guys, before I offer the chap any cash. Front wheels are 18" x 8" wide and are fitted with mint Dunlop Sport SP1, 225/40/ZR18 Tyres. Rear wheels are 18" x 9" wide and are fitted with mint Goodyear Eagle F1, 245/40/zr18 Tyres. Harllequin
with the following offset on the wheels. Front offset is 35 and Rears are 38.
hoff
Wheel widths are just about ok but cant help on offsets. Tyre widths on stock are 235/45/17 fronts and 255/40/17 rears (I think). So id go for 235/40/18 and 255/35/18 but I could be wrong.
bignum
The offsets are way out, should be 50 or as close to that allround.
simbasupra
according to attached spreadsheet, they will fit but says the rear wheels will not sit flush with the body. have a go yourself though it's a handy tool.Supra Tyre Fitment.xls
simbasupra
may look better with slightly wider tyres possibly 255/35/
hoff
may look better with slightly wider tyres possibly 255/35/18 More of a grip thing IMO. I wouldnt go for any less than stock. Remember to keep as close to stock rolling radius too, as not to be getting a false speedo reading, epecially at about 70mph on motorways. hoff
Im sure the sizes I gave before are correct. Where are you thinking of getting them from? The supplier should be able to give you some indication. Check out the "what tyres do you use thread" there will be some posts showing 18" tyre sizes.
