Jaws & Jaws 2 have both been on TV in the past week. I used to love Blue Thunder too.

Great actor, a lot of his films weren't massive but you couldn't help but like him!

Jaws is such an excellant film, three great performances from the lead actors and Spielbergs cinematography is supreme. The use of the barrels instead of the shark, because the shark was so rubbish, was a stroke of genius.

Strangely, still today, if I'm sitting in my car eating lunch or having a coffee, I sometimes think of Doyle and Russo on a stakeout in chilly New York.

And the brilliant line in Jaws - "You're going to need a bigger boat" - was actually an ad lib.

Jaws is still one of my favorite films, Blue Thunder was ok but i really enjoyed Seaquest DSV.

I didnt know that the "bigger boat" quote was an ad-lib, thats just wonderful.

2010 is one of the best scifi films ever made I reckon - I did like Roy in that.

good actor... I didn't realise how old he was now! Jaws was a classic but I always think of him as the captain of the Seaquest :)
