Blocking off rear wiper arm hole on hatch?

Does anyone have any bright ideas on how to block off the hole for the rear wiper arm? I don't want to involve filler or paint, so am just looking for some sort of bung... It doesn't need to be pretty, just some basic black rubber bung to fill the hole it creates would do the job :)

local auto shop have these kinds, all different sizes, should have a wall with packs of bits n bobs, switches, numberplate sticky pads, screws etc and these kind of flexible rubber grommets for 85p around that mark

bump on this thread - Homer you sorted this now?

From reading SF - it appears the hole is 34mm - there are lots of "blanking grommits" on ebay which are either 32mm or 37.3mm, wondered if these may do the job?

Also - if you've removed the rear wiper - did you remove motor/pipes etc as well?

Any info is great - thanks!

All sorted now mate, I picked up a blanking plug while at Jezz's place. Fitted it a few weeks ago and it's been perfectly water tight after all this rain!

The wiper and motor was already gone, so only filled the hole. If you don't get an answer by tomorrow I can take a measurement of the hole for you. Let me know.

Has anyone got a rough "how to" on removing the rear wiper arm, motor etc?

ta

Wiper arms are normally fitted onto a splined shaft, so pull loose the cover where the wiper pivots, remove the nut then lever off the wiper arm. There's normally a larger nut you then have to remove.

The rest is common sense, obviously the motor assembly has to be removed from the other side.
