I would like to see a wheel gallery:)
Would be nice to get some pics and info all in one thread!!
I think its a good idea, as people are always asking things like
1: Will these fit over my UK Specs
2: What will these look like on my car
3: Will these rub on my arches
4: What size alloy will fill out my arches
I like this idea. It would be good because people are always asking for opinions. Though its good to give opinions a gallery with the wheels details below would be very handy:)
Could it be templated i wonder, otherwise it might end up a mess.
i also think its a good idea,
trying to visualise what a wheel looks like on a supra
not sure if it will fit
visit the wheel gallery

No more interest in this?
Seems like somebodys asking for opinions on wheels every week...
Sounds like a great idea:)
yeah good idea. like the bodykit threads
example
braid wheels
19" x 12" rears, tyre 295 30 19
19" x 9.5" fronts, tyre 245 35 19
clears uk brakes
contact ibrar trader on here
Sounds like a great idea:)
:iagree:
As someone has already said, why not create a thread in multimedia for people to post up the info? If need be, the mods can make it a sticky too.
i think it should really be made a stick in technical..
What's technical about buying wheels?
mine
braid wheels
19" x 12" rears, tyre 295 30 19
19" x 9.5" fronts, tyre 245 35 19
clears uk brakes
contact ibrar trader on here
Considering this is the section for suggestions, posting up details and pics of your wheels is hardly relevant eh?
Fella, there is more chance of me marrying the Pope on February 31st than there is of getting this as a sticky under technical. :)
Buying wheels arnt easy mate, look at all the info
Most good wheel manufacturer websites will recommend correct sizes and offsets for different makes/models of cars.
I suspect it is only a problem if buying cheap (*spit*) wheels off ebay.

I for one would be delighted to attend if you went through with this notion :d
Please get of my thread your ruining it:D, we should leave it down to the mods, id say tech.
Not a chance. The mods have spoken.
Well then, you'll just have those same random wheel threads come up...im gone..

There is no way the thread could ever be a sticky in technical. I always have a view that technical is for discussions that could confuse or confound me. Things like compression ratios vs boost, injector characteristics, diff gearings and so on.
A technical thread is not about a picture of a wheel with costs. Its either SupraChat or Multimedia.
If this is what it takes for you to flounce off the forum and remove all your posts then so be it.
Yea dont worry B i dont plan on starting any more threads...i thought this would be a good idea to help everyone and i get this thrown at me. i have a few deals im doing on this forum so once theyre finised ill be gone.

Your BTEC tutor will be so pleased you will have more time to dedicate to your college work.
Nobody said it was a bad idea, it was the fact that you wanted it as a sticky in technical when its plainly not a technical post, based on my statement above.
JB
BTEC? i dont go to college, i work full time so i can fix my supra...what about all that offset business and tyre sizes and uk brake business???

yes, but whatabout all the purchase price, picture, who it was bought from. Is that technical? NO. So as its not technical then it would GO IN SUPRACHAT OR MULTIMEDIA. Bored trying to explain this to you now. The decision was made and its not going to be changed no matter what. Leave or stay, Im frankly not bothered.

I've bought some 10mm hubcentrics for either side at the front.. only thing i can do.
The wheels are like 7/8mm off
I would sugges a similar thread for exhausts but i dont want to get shot down!! :)
only thing i can do.
Was you told they would fit by the person that sold them to you or did you specify the offsets?

Was told they should fit over the AP racing calipers, but the word "should" is probably what i accepted so on my head i quess
To be fair Matt, you gave me the offsets from another car and asked me to match them as close as possible.

Id not be happy with that and id want them swapped for sure, id not drive a car with spacers.
Edit, if you gave him the offsets that changes things somewhat.

Lets no go into this nic, its done. But.... I gave you the offsets from ibrars car so you could work out how wide the VS overfenders would make the new wheels.. as for clearing the brakes, you said the offsets you came back with should clear the brakes.
I'm not complaining mate...... i'm really not, i accepted that, should have been more particular.......
PM if you want........... :)
