View Full Version : Finally had a chance to give her a wash!

I picked her up from Portsmouth about two weeks ago, but today was the first chance I've had to give her a wash - didn't fancy posting up a dirty Sup! ;)

5spd manual N/A jspec, ~58k miles. Apart from a slightly loose exhaust (which is rubbing against something now and then) and a nasty little rust spot on the boot she seems to be in good condition :).

Rust spot is very common, my last one had it and i believe many of them on here will have it!

Looks nice just keep it clean ;)

It will help, do a search on refurb headlights, do them yourself, get gzaerojon to do them for you, or even better get Steve Manley(search his name for his number) to get you a set of glass ones.

Not if the mist is on the inside which alot these days are. You can refurb them as suggested but a shiny set of new UK spec glass ones will look a million times better. Good look with keeping that clean :D

I'll look at getting a UK glass set when I have some spare funds :). I need to replace the rears as well, it's not obvious in the pictures but the rear right has a 'crazed' effect on the inside.. presumably due to age?

It works but it's not very straight, poor thing is a bit limp when erect! :(
