Which would be the better option?

OK, can anyone answer the following?:-

Which would make more sense? converting a TT auto to manual or an SZ-R NA 6 speed to TT? the cost that Jezz quotes for a TT engine swap is £3000 (plus clutch) and an auto to manual is also £3000!

Taking into account that as both would need clutches and diff ratio changes as the NA clutch is smaller and an auto doesn't have one and both diff ratios are too low, so which would be the best way to jump? An SZ-R converted to a TT would raise the insurance premium just as converting an auto to manual TT - but which would warrant/get the higher premium?

Clutches and Diffs are supplied to match the spec on both those conversions mate. ;) TT 6 speed conversions get a 6 speed TT LSD and clutch, and TT Auto conversions get a TT auto diff.

Sorry Jezz! :taped: Thought it was just an engine or box change as your post did state '£3000 plus clutch on manuals' so I assumed this was extra and no mention of diff change. seems like excellent value either way!
