Daston
Hi guys Looking for a small 10 row cooler to act as a PS cooler. All the ones I have seen either have oil cooling connectors or are to big. Anyone know where I can get a smallish one that would take jubilee clamps or can you get those fancy screw clampy things anywhere?
bignum
I got 1 off ebay only about £20 iirc.
Wez
Summit racing are good for stuff like this.
Ark
The connectors on the coolers are normally interchangeable, so take off the JIC fitting and replace with a hose barb. Someone like ThinkAuto should be able to sort you out. The "fancy screw clampy things" are just hose ends - put a jubilee style one on one end and a JIC one on the other. Chris Wilson
Fit a rad from an auto and use the cooler inbuilt within the bottom tank as a PAS cooler. Neat, unobtrusive and efficient.
heckler
Fit a rad from an auto and use the cooler inbuilt within the bottom tank as a PAS cooler. Neat, unobtrusive and efficient. Is that just as effective as a stock PAS cooler? as it happens I have an Auto Rad in my 6 speed... I did always wonder...
Chris Wilson
Probably more effective, and less weight, aero drag and expense, just a length of hose and some clips and the job's done.

SUPRASUZUKI
Get one with threaded connectors, it doesn't matter if the connectors appear to be too big. Take it to your local hydraulic parts supplier and they'll have fittings to reduce to the ID of the hose (10mm IIRC) .
paul mac
Probably more effective, and less weight, aero drag and expense, just a length of hose and some clips and the job's done. if you had the holes open to the disused auto cooler i would flush it out first otherwise you will introduce a lot of s**t into the system and you could wreck your PAS pump
