Blackie
This may seem like a dumbass thing to ask, but it is me and you will be used to it. Do you ever change the power steering fluid? Mines full but sometimes my rack makes the "Empty" sound, the growning. The fluid looks thin too.

BASHTHEBISHOP
Sorry for the double post, When i'm turning the wheels when its warmed up. I am paranoid on this having had 2 go on me but check the crank pulley is ok. I thought the fluid should be red so might need changing. Kranz
Should be red & shouldn't smell burnt. Change it & if you want to keep it lasting longer then add a fluidyne transmission cooler

(I dont think this includes the crank pully??)I'm banking on it being the fluid, when the brakes on my bike go crap i change tyhe fluid and its all better, Im hoping its the same principal with the steering fluid,.
