lads i just want to add in that i have an xs power turbo before

on my setup in my gt turbo and there wasnt one problem with

used for a few thousand miles and then stripped car

and sold turbo kit (just turbo was xs power) and the turbo is

still going strong in another gt in ireland at the moment

Herein lies the problem, some people have had success and some people have had serious failures. It has been shown that the manifold's are a little roughly finished on the inside. The turbos well, they are pot luck I've still got a T70 somewhere from XS Power, but I'm going to convert it to a jet turbine rather than put it on my car.. (but that is in the summer :p)

The weakest link on a Renault 5 GT Turbo is not going to be the XS power turbo it will be the rest of the engine that lets go first, My old R5GT was forever breaking down (going back over 10years now :D) there is a big difference between the stress a 3litre Supra engine will put on a turbo system and a 1.4 Renault engine in a tin box car :)

put a garrett comparable turbo on there and compare it in terms of response, spool, power etc to the xs power turbo....let me know which one you find the best ;)

ya mate thats the crowd, located over in sri lanka i think

fmic kit was top notch from them along with the finish

and performace of their manifolds and downpipes

one of the most highly rated sellers on the gt website

i beg to differ...

their Td04 manifolds always crack, and the end tanks on the intercoolers are pretty gash IMO....

But they somehow still have a good rating on gtturbo like you said....
