Wez
Hey All, I am looking at getting a couple 20L jerry cans, should I go for UPVC or Metal?
Guigsy
i think upvc are only small? (for petrol anyway)
SUPRASUZUKI
I use a metal one. Not sure what the regs are for large plastic containers for petrol.
JustGav
Plastic limit is 5l I believe... So it would be metal.

Wez
is it for race fuel wez?? to take to the track? Yes or extra normal fuel. You can get 20L in either metal or plastic.

SUPRASUZUKI
Make sure you don't 'brim' them, as I did when I first used mine. The pressure built up in the warmth of the car and when I opened the can at the track I got fuel splashed all over the place. Also, if you leave a good air gap in the can it makes the fuel easier to pour. You can tilt the can over and avoid fuel running down the side (a well fitting spout will alleviate this too). HTH Thanks for the heads up, I ordered two in a pack and they come with a metal spout.
