Cut Fiber Glass Guage PODs?

Hi

Just got the fiber glass dash 3 guage pod off Whifblitz to sit over glove box area, but they need to be cut out. Does anybody have any suggestions on what tools to use?

I used something similar to this:

First I covered the area to be cut out with masking tape (for a cleaner cut) then made sure I had my center point correct for the drill bit and drilled at a medium speed very carefully

Edges where then tidied up with some sand paper.

ya think they would come cut already lol

They don't come pre-cut incase one customer wants a 52mm gauge, and another wants a 60mm gauge in the same location. it's more difficult to enlarge a hole than to cut one from new.

Oh i know that mate but would be easier imo if they drilled the holes

for you after you purchased it ya know

Thanks, just finished. Came out better than I taught looks awesome

Duration : 2 hours with a metal File did the trick

Mask taped up the area then drilled out loads of holes first with the drill, used a small hack saw blade to join all the small drilled holes. This removed a lager portioon of the area, then I went to work on it it a circular metal file. Took some time but it worked

I was afraid to use a circular saw incase it cracked, so I took the longer route, taught it might be safer
