Guest dangerousandy
I am refurbing the calipers on my UK spec Auto and I am not sure what type of paint to use. I want to spray them with an aerosol and i was going to use black heat proof high temperature paint from Halfords. However, my boss had painted the calipers on his MK2 Mondeo with Smoothright and they looked very nice. I would rather a gloss or satin finish to my calipers, but I dont want the finish to burn off or go white!! I want to do them Black (as per original spec) and I have managed to source some transfers off eBay with the correct Supra logo. what d'ya reckon I should use??? simbasupra
hammerite mate, can get it in a variety of finishes and colours and withstands the heat. (hammered, smooth, matt)

merckx
Normal spray paint works too without any discolouring, a bloke on Supraforums can testify to that. But you require a primer and the paint isn't as thick. I used the plasti-coat smooth stuff in red, it was a nicer shade than hammerite . B & Q and Halfords sell it.
