Sparky
Hi all, Ive been offered some good condition HKS coilovers at a really good price but is there anything i need to be wary about when buying second hand sets? I know im probably going to get responses like 'don't be cheap, buy brand new ones' but well tbh i just dont want to spend the money! (And no im not stindgy)! Get them checked first, u dont want to pay and then fit them to find out one or 2 are knocking like crazy
Dragonball
Also check to make sure that the adjustable spring 'seat' turns OK and has not welded itself to the body

Nic
Which HKS coilovers are they, do you have pics?
jevansio
Oh & make sure if they do have a problem you can get them serviced, once they get so old even the manufactures won't overhaul them
