RedM Posted January 31, 2008 Share Posted January 31, 2008 :cry::cry: The car went into the garage for some repair work and I get a call today saying that they have a buyer for it who will take the car as is and obviously offset the repair cost against my asking price. So that's it then. We are meeting on Saturday to swap money for keys and I become Supra-less. Apart from not getting as much as we'd hoped for it (sadly, it appears to be a buyers market with so many far too cheap cars floating about) the really gutting thing is that I never got my last drive in her. I pootled over to the garage last night. If I'd have known I'd have been a bit more spirited. Oh well. It's been a blast. I know many people think I don't like Supras but I do. I've thoroughly enjoyed owning mine and, if I can get a better paid job, I may be back with another one in a year or two. ...and now, alcoholic oblivion.
