I want a cheap laptop. Dont care what it has got on it in terms of memory etc as it will only used for mapping and datalogging.

Let me know what you have. Very small budget.......:(

What does it come with i.e. battery, charger....etc etc?

Google search says it looks like this. I imagine it will not have the docking station it is sitting on.

Its is the one and it does have the docking station and also the charger

Not had time mate, it is still lying in the back garden. Probably will stay there for a while yet.

What condition is it in (not that it matters but just interested to know).

no idea how much new, its a good few years old. has 256 ram, no idea what hd but I know it has xp on it. Its in real nice condition. Also works as a stand alone cd player by use of the docking station. The lappy itself doesnt have any cd drives at all only the hdd. everything else is in the docking station.

I believe its old enough to have serial and paralell and I know it has USB too.

OK Just been and got it out of the garage. Yup, serial and paralell and usb and loads of other ports

XP Pro, Real Licence

Power connector is a bit dodgy tho it seems, works fine but might need the plug on psu changing

Its one of these ultra portables with a tiny 12.1" screen

I also have a spare docking station if you ever need it
