To help though, I think its a hard job getting the stock tweeters changed out, just disconnect then mount the new tweeters next to the mids. Better sound stage. Wirering is further expandend if you've got the OEM amplifier still fitted under the passenger seat. As far as I recall the tweeters are a redundant loop from the speaker harness behind/below the radio. You can find detailed drawings/schematrics of the electrical system with everthing about the radio/amplifier/speaker wirering on mkiv.com also.
