Hi guys,

Bought some glow dials of ebay a while back.

Wnated to connect them up but a little confused.

The pack has the dials with connectors

a power adaptor which plugs into 12+ and -

but they also have a very then strip with a push on/off button at the end (connection for this on power adaptor).

I thought the power adaptor would be wired to a wire which provides a positive feed when the lights are switched on? (this is what I want)

I don't understand the on/off button. Do I have to wire this up?

Sorry cant provide pictures as camera was stolen

Thanks

Jas

I have some glow dials in my supra too mate and they are rubbish, they

are for a LHD, the guy who owned the car before me fitted them

as he couldnt find ones for the RHD

That button is basically just to turn up/down brightness (i think)

Have this in mine too and it does absolutely fuk all hahahaha

Glow dials come on when i turn on the lights

the little sticker on front of the dial fell off by the way lol

So how do the dials get powered? do you have to press a seperate switch?

Also, I cannot see how the dials get wired as the instrument cluster is a closed unit so how do the wires attached to the dials get routed to the power adaptor that comes with them?

I assume the power adaptor must get positioned behind the instrument cluster?

Can anyone who has done this offer any help. Unfortunately the dials did not come with any instructions and having spent good money on these i'm relectunt to buy other ones and don't want to leave these lying around!

Thanks

Jas
