0-60 in 4 seconds and 180+ in a car with No Abs or Traction control.
Once again, i've decided to sell another car as i just haven't found anything to replace my old supra :-(
So far i've tried an Evo, golf V5, Cerbera, BMW M5 and i still can't find anything that i actually enjoy as much as the supra.
Test drove a 1989 Porsche carrera 2 and a lotus esprit charge cooled S4, but needed to hack off 1/2 my leg to get into the porsche and in the lotus, i can press all 3 peddles down with one foot, so thats out of the window.
Any suggestions to any other car, or do i just buy a nice fast single turbo supra and go back to my roots?
Im having the same problem. Would like to change the supra but there is nothing else out there as fun as a single supra (for realistic money) - Looks like the supra is staying for a few years yet
Get another single...! Very nice car btw....!
Hmm. Might have P/ex'd you on this, not sure if i could handle a Villa colour scheme though. Tempting though :)

lol.. Everyone sais that about the colour, but its actually not that bad, i kind of like it now. It does change in different light. When the sun is on it, it's a pink with silver flick, and when it gets darker its more a deep purple.
You don't buy the car for the colour...... You buy the car to drive it. I must say though, you can't drive this when your tired/not well/stressed, otherwise you will spin it off the road. It's a mad peice of kit :-)
Have you thought of an Elise? For 13K you could get an 03 S2. It would be a very different experience to the Supra but you could smoke most things on track or on B roads. I have size 12 feet and had no problems with the pedals when i had one.

OK so you are on a supra site, you are extolling the virtues of a car you want to sell, and your reason is because its not as good as a supra??? HMMMM not wanting to pick holes in your argument here but is this the best place to advertise a car thats not in your opinion as good as a supe?

Very nice, I wouldnt worry about the colour personally, good luck with the sale! :)
Whats the budget for the next car?

prob up to 20k. but ideally looking around the 16 mark.
I really like the ultima for 24k on pistonheads, but i think for the fact it's just so impractical and has no roof it would be a little silly! lol. The other problem is being 6"3,
Sorry to go off topic, but why didn't the Cerbera fill the bill for you? It's one car I've *always* wanted and was a close 2nd to choosing a Supra a few years ago. I'm considering one again now, so am very interested in your experiences having owned both a TT supra and a Cerb :)
i would have offered a swap if it was a colour that was more suiting to the car:D

yea im 6"4 and that ruled out a few cars for me, i wanted a 911 but they are to small, same with noble although i could have just lived with that.

The cerbera is a great car, when the sun is out and the roads are dry, as it handles superbly and makes an awsome note when planting your right foot the floor. but it's not a car you can just jump in a go off on as an everyday car. Everytime i go out in it, i check the oil/water, i check it's not raining and not going to rain inthe near future, you then have to let it warm up (5-10mins) then get it out the garage etc, etc. I don't mean to put the car down, as it is superb, but it is an enthusiasts car that is more of a weekend car rather than an everyday driver if that makes sence.
Do a search on youtube for cerbera and play the top gear review of it, that's quite interesting :-)

I utterly adore TVR's and some point in my life (maybe when I have my midlife crisis) I will own one. For now though the purchase costs of a decent one and the tales of staggering running costs (I'm sure they are overhyped these stories) puts one out of my reach :(

Alright mate, how goes it?
I may have the perfect Supra coming in for you next week. T51, Veilside inlet, metallic blue, AP brakes, Blitz alloys, Blitz bodykit, etc. Should scare you enough?
Thought of you the other day, do you watch Hollyoaks? That gay vicar on there is a spitting image!

If i sell mine soon enough, i may be interested... I'm going out in the cerb today as the weather is stunning, and i'll get some moody pics of it :-)

Me to actually, think I might take me Supe out for a blast somewhere. Just got to get rid of this hangover first!
Scooby - in a fornight I'll be in Chelmsford, if you still have the TVR is there any chance I can come have a look? No way I can afford one, but I've never seen one in the flesh and always liked the look (and sound - swordfish) of them :D.

Forgot to mention the specs on the car:
0-60 is 4.2 seconds (some sites report 4 seconds)
Top speed is 180mph+
All with No ABS or Traction control.

Didn't end up going last weekend as planned, seems I missed the perfect weather too! I am intending on going Fri-Sun, but doesn't look like I'll have much time free - if I do I will pop you a message to see if you're around :).
