Dodgy HID light!

I have a HID conversion in my car that was there when I got it, maybe even had been done in Japan. I've noticed that when I get home after a nice long drive, the right hand light isn't on, even though it turned on OK at the start of the journey.

If I then turn the lights off, and on again, *sometimes* it's OK, but most of the time it fails to light - you'll get the HID "startup" flash but then nothing.

I've tried tapping, waggling and prodding the ballast wires, I don't think it's a bad connection.

Is this likely to be a bulb or the ballast on it's way out?

Hey chaps I have isolated the fault to the bulb itself, swapped the ballasts and the problem remains. I then swapped the bulbs to make sure it wasn't the car's loom but the problem definitely followed the bulb.

Couple of pics attached - can I get the bulbs separately? I don't want to get a whole new kit as the ballasts are fine.
