can i take a engine from a toyota aristo and drop it in my n/a supra?? want do i need to use from the aristo??

can i use my clutch for now?? or do i have to upgrade at the same time??

You can indeed use an aristo engine in your supra. The sump is different and some other parts are different but the engine itself is pretty much the same. You'll be able to keep your existing gearbox but how long it will last nobody knows. If you have the clutch out (which you will) its madness not to at least stick a new one in. You'll be needing an ECU as well btw.

"dini the owl" has done such a conversion..........

.............i have a TT sump if you go this way and end up needing one.

I have a JZS161 Aristo engine in mine, with a non-VVTi Supra head and a number of other parts from my old engine bolted onto it.
