insurance question!!

hi guys!! as most of you know, im portuguese!! so i still don know very well how does uk insurance work.... lol..

if i changed my n/a engine with a tt engine want do i have to tell my insurance??

it is a "kit" or my car will be consider a tt gz or rz??

hope you understand my point and hope someone can help!!!

It will be considered a mod, the model of the car doesn't change.
You will have to declare it to the insurance.

the insurance will be based on the base model and they will take into account the new "mod" and the power it produces

yes.. yes.. because i phone my insurance and for a gz no insurance will quote me.. :(
but if i tell them that i have a turbo kit(mod) i still have insurance!! lol... :)
