About 20 minutes ago, I was sitting at my desk working on the PC, all of a sudden there was a loud bang, really close to me, I jumped out of my seat....I thought what the hell was that????
It was so close to me it had to be something right near me, I then looked at my wireless mouse and it had a strange noise coming from inside it. Looked okay from the outside, I then took off the cover and then saw the duracell battery had exploded inside, and the mouse still works?
Made me jump!

Phew i thought you ment a small rodent had exploded in your house.
Seen that a couple of time but normally soemthing that puts a load on the battery certainly not a mouse.
You can send them back to Duracell and they investigate it. Most prop caused by it being dropped!

That would have been funny! reminds me of a time when I was younger.
My friend used to have an addiction with frogs, blowing them up that is..he used to close peg them on the washing line and play target practice, and then sometimes would tie them to firework rockets and let them fly into the sky, amongst other things. Cruel but absolutely hilarious....frogs away.

At least he won't have to travel far...he still lives in the UK:D
I had something similar happen, Except mine was a frozen mouse in the microwave defrosting for my snake. It popped and there was guts every where in the microwave. I was going mental trying to clear it out before my misses saw. True story.

DO NOT microwave food for reptiles. You can serious harm them.
Leave them to defrost naturally. Particularly a snake, another day without food won't harm him.

She uses it, I'm F**ked if i'm going too! lol I buy my two pythons frozen mice and rats. i would feel "funny" about giving them live, Its easier with frozen too.

It was only a one off but thanks for the heads up. I normally get them out in the morning to defrost, also they did'nt get to eat it anyway as it proper popped so had to bin it.
Not a mouse, but a classic no less :)

No probs, I actually did assume you knew better (we have all done it once), I just speak to a LOT of herp owners who know fu*k all.
Pythonus regius or something more interesting?
I have access to some very unusual stuff if it floats your boat and you want some pics. Venoms, caimens, tegus, all sorts.

No mate, not extreamly interesting to ones in the know. Just the two Roylas. I have had them for about a 2 years, ones 5 ft ish(fully grown i think) and my little ones 3 and a half ft. My brother's got a red tail boa (7ft), corns, & a royal. Send the pics if you could please, could be interested.

Name it, I'm away till the twelth but I'll send some over if you drop me your email.
very nice, my first pet the royals, when I was about 8. I know someone in the trade who breeds to type and also does morphs.

My brothers boas was cheap as the bloke was trying to make a single saddle morph. I will have a think and a look round at whats interesting, my email is on its way.
Ta, when I'm back I'll send you some stuff you don't normally see. IMHO the caiman is the coolest, he's only young but fights like fook when you take him out lol.
