Guest Kazimodo Posted January 24, 2008 Share Posted January 24, 2008 Hi thinking about getting a body kit,new louder exshaust,back spoiler.need a kit though that can clear big speed humps cos there are loads in maidstone. also any idea of cost for fitting. thinks me need to get to the bank and have a chat as well. costs and ideas would be much appreciated. thought about swapping the car,but the engine is good so will update instead. aero n/a 1993 silver. plus i have just had my insurance quote;) through for this year and it has doubled since i pranged it last year costing £3000 apparently for the repair!!!oh well its worth it. thanks kaz Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Nic Posted January 25, 2008 Share Posted January 25, 2008 hi i like top secret or retaliator but as my car is an everyday drive dont know if they would be suitable. kaz:( The problem with many bodykits is not really the ground clearance as such, but the clearance when going up an down slopes, for example the Top Secret front protrudes out further, so sharp inclines/declines can cause the front lip to catch if not careful. You'll find a bigger exhaust will ground on a speed bump before the kit itself. I'll gladly help you spend your 'wonga', although bodykits are a bit big for me to ship from here.
