Im not going down the route of clear protection as it will not stick to the wheels. Even more of a problem is said company are the only place you can get it outside the US. vvteye Posted January 24, 2008 Share Posted January 24, 2008 Sorry to hear your woes - I also had a repolish so after reading your story I went straight out to check and sure enough there are the start of small spots of corosion and these wheels have also only been on for a month. So thanks for alerting me to the dangers, and about the cutting/polishing. I was also thinking of fiving them a coupleof coats of laquer once I got them as clean as possible. I'm not sold on this sealant stuff as the amount of rain we get in Wales I'm now worried that it will just come off between car washes. let me know how good the seal is though please Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
