has it is the start of a new year think it's time to start planning on what to do when the weather gets a bit better so in other words lets plan out a meet.
so i know it's early but it give folks something to look forward too
as i was thinking april time maybe? just hopping that snow doesn't come then.

Yeah April would be good. I'm away up-north to Orkney in May so hopefully it won't clash with that.

I thought I was brave being out in the fiasco in the deep stuff.
I'm putting my request in early - 24 degrees C, dry roads and a gentle breeze for this next meet.

Cool photo...I don't like going out in the Hilux in the white stuff and tend to find wet roads slippy enough....I'll second Greenauto's request of 24 degrees c, dry road and gentle breeze!
Just out of interest and totally off topic, are any of my fellow Eberdeen owners any good with ICE (no not the slippery stuff in Venoms pic).
I've just got back the stuff I need to complete my install. I went for a nice set of components a new headunit and an amp to drive the comps. I've built the brackets off the site and have a pretty good idea of how to fit the speakers and head unit but when it comes to wiring in the two amps I'm a bit scared.
Any ice buffs? If not the bloke I know in Halfrauds Peterhead will sort it for a small fee ;)

Aye I would have been up for it but I'm still waiting to get my headlights back. Could always turn up in the fiesta I guess :( :(

i finish work at 3:30 but i would definately be up for it on wednesday.. :)
I'm done at 4:30 and I work up at Altens.
Hope I don't have to show you guys up by smokin up the tyres and doin rollin burnouts in the fiesty :0 :)

Your suggestion of Asda at the beach sounds pretty good Marc. But since I won't have my own car I'll let you guys decide. If its anywhere as nice tomorrow night as it is the day then it'll be good for some pics under the lights.

Mine and kslb's cars and both still garaged...Keith might be able to pop down in the truck (he might get his car out) but I have to study....would have been good to see you guys though...sorry I'll miss a chance to say hello! I am trying to get really far ahead with course work so I can have lots of weekends off in the summer for meets and crail! Should be studying right now so better stop checking in here....

well i might be there in supra . have moved the focus so i have clear path to get out now.

What happened?
Three cars and only one was a Supra (not even mine), letting the side down guys.
Seriously though Marc and his mate Mike turned up, so it was a nice chance to meet some new people. Nice to meet you guys, you both seem like sound blokes and as mental about your cars as the rest of us.
We stood and chatted for 2 1/2 hours before the cold and the chavs in their corsa's became too much to bare.
Look forward to the next meet, hopefully with better weather.....
and more cars!

typical the suns shinning on Tuesday and Thursday but it was thick fog on Wednesday.. we made the best of it tho :d
we should try and arrange a date/place for the April meet so we can get as many members as possible.
just a thought but i know a few Aberdeen people off skylineownersclub.co.uk maybe we could make a joint club meet in April as to have the best turnout (or do you guys think there may be a bit too much rivalry..lol :d)

How about the same place we met for the last Aberdeen meet, has a decent car park out back which was closed off for just us last time and I am sure they would do it again. It is just out of the town and plenty good runs out from there and a few of you at least know where it is now as well. Could be good. suggested date of Sun 13 Apr. If there is interest in this I can start a new thread with more details. For those that didn't come last time you could check out the old aberdeen meet thread. We did arrange for the track use last time but it was a bit small but could do it with or without this time. Link for location details.
