View Full Version : Just wondering
What the response is from the mods about any of the following sections. Still would like to see some kind of "way off topic, or blogging section"
1- Blogging section
2- Agony Aunt
3- Waay off topic
4- Drunken Pub corner
I accept that I have (I think) caused most of the upset, in previous weeks, by posting in the off topic in some of the above styles.
Is there is a demand for this, or likely to be one in the future, or am I the only one who has caused the need? I.E. The problem and the solution? ;)
Humbly, and tail beween legs,
Carl
i agree you are the problem
lol
i like the ideas too

Maybe you should join a chat forum as well as this one, I come to this forum to talk about cars (not always Supras as well may I add) and I also enjoy the banter that is found in off topic and other areas and often post on none Supra topics, I think that a section for 'way off topic' is not required on a car forum however and the interweb has plenty for places for that, all IMO of course :)
While you continue to post then I think there is a demand. At least then your posts are in a section we know to avoid. :)
Carl you're just to special for this forum mate ;)
 I think you are the "waay off topic section" Carl. All on your own.:p:d

I think its probably the communitry that makes him want to post everything on here. It is a good community.
However dont worry you're not the only one to post alot of crap...... Blackie :D
I will discuss this with the other mods.
Maybe you should start your own forum for attention whores?

Thanks. Yeah and maybe I should join another forum too, to express my "special" ways. ;)
But yeah you are right, its a great community here, just want to respect it so it stays that way.

Would you like to be a mod for that section. :D
I agree with the community thing - people on here can become like a good group of mates and for some it probably just feels like you're sharing things with your pals.
Still don't think its always wholly appropriate on a car club site though
...and a repost section

Would you like to be a mod for that section. :D
Are only the public parts of the forum moderated? If not, how about somthing in private/members only?

i'm not 100% sure he was offering you a job mate ;)

Thats right mate, he was offering it to Michael. :) I was just wondering if all the forums were moderated, if there are unmoderated areas of the forum, that might be the best home for such a place becuase it would save a moderator otherwise having to trawl through every post. :search: ;)

You can't have an "un moderated" part of the forum!
It's like having an un supervised part of a nursery..... The forum can't leave itself wide open like that. It wouldn't take long for it to all get out of hand!

Feel for the mods. Must be about a thousand posts a day they have to read as a team.
I barely read my own posts sometimes.
Anyway. You're right, it makes sense to have every area of a forum like this, public or private with its own moderator.

No chance. There's enough crap posted in off topic as it is. Why create more sections for you to post yet more?
